My First Senior Championship Medal!!

What a month it has been. The last of my 2021 season. I flew to Switzerland this month to race the Elite European Championships this time on the track. This meant working with the Podium Squad which in effect meant I had two Tokyo 2021 Riders in my quartet. This also meant we were aiming to go a lot quicker than I had before around 0.5 seconds a lap which is massive in cycling.

After a few familiarisation sessions we flew out and aimed personally for me to get a PB in the Team Pursuit. Which I achieved with a time of 3:51 my previous best was 3:57. We managed to also get a bronze medal beating part of the Italian team which won gold this year in Tokyo.

A brilliant trip for me all in all. Gaining experience will definitely help motivate myself to make the step up to the Elite team this winter.
