Career Development Day at Castor Lodge
On Saturday the 10th of September Ady and the team at the Fane clinic were lucky enough to be hosted by Country Court for a career development day.
The Day started with a tour of the fantastic facilities available at the Castor Lodge care home. The penthouse apartments were something to be marvelled at, their homely appearance and top of the line equipment meant guests got the best possible care while still being able to enjoy the finer things in life. The tour was topped off to the Cricketer Arms, Castor lodges in house pub, where we were met with a selection of breakfast items to start the day off.
With stomachs full the team then headed to the conference room where Country Court provided a very insightful presentation into the history of the group as well as some exciting opportunities for our Foot Health Practitioners.
It was then the turn of Kevin Watts, a podiatrist at the clinic, to take the stage. Kevins expertise meant the talk was filled with informative guidance and advice which should be considered when working in a care home setting. The lecture left the team brimming with knowledge to be used on patients across the UK.
Following Kevin was our Clinical Director, Ady. He ensured our knowledge about the clinic and its history were up to scratch before he moved on to presenting some exciting opportunities for practitioners.
Our partners at Country Court put on a truly inspiring event. Their top of the line facilities meant the day ran smoothly and all our needs were catered for. Everyone involved left in the afternoon feeling inspired and optimistic for what the future with Country Court has to offer.
